Here at SampleBoard, we are huge fans of Pella Hedeby’s designs (and her Pinterest account). Her impeccable signature aesthetics made her one of Sweden’s most influential designers of today and led to collaborations with major brands such as IKEA, H&M Home, Elle Decoration and Residence Magazine. But what is it that makes Pella Hedeby stand out from the fierce competition?
Well, it is probably her power to create personality-packed interiors that seem effortless yet insanely luxurious. She describes her style as simplistic, featuring natural materials and soft, neutral palette. Sustainable designs and pre-loved furniture are a must in her creations, and she never seize to points out the importance of creating a calm oasis at home to help fight the stress of our busy schedules and turbulent lives.
Pela’s less is more mindset can be seen in her mood boards too as she always starts with a stylish centerpiece and then works around it. She chooses to follow her gut rather than the latest trends and uses mood boards to help her determine the style, colors, materials, and shapes of the future space.
One thing is sure, when Pella releases photos of her latest work, we are there to see it (+ pin, pin, pin all of them!). And if that project happens to be her very home, then we are in for a real treat!
