You may have noticed the past decade of kitchen design has yet...
So I'm counting down the weeks for my new kitchen to be built. After a lot of time pinning (check out my Nordic Summer House board) I have finally settled on a style. Nordic Summer House meets Modern Farmhouse. And after a lot of contemplation and research I have decided to use Bianca Carrara marble as countertops, although I will be using a sort of acid-wash to remove most of the "shine" so it gets installed with a slight patina already...with an underslung double basin.
This will be my colour scheme - I've already painted our new front door that lovely dark blue/grey color used in the top cupboards in this London home I found on Shootfactory and will be using the same colour for my bottom kitchen cupboards - duco spraypainted with either a finger grip door handle or stainless steel strip handle.
I've also designed a little book shelf in the kitchen island unit, got inspired by these ideas...
